A heavy-duty hammer crusher is a device that can directly crush large-sized materials into their required size in a single operation, simplifying traditional production lines that require multiple machines connected in series.
Working Principle: The core of the equipment is a high-speed rotor with hammers. Material enters from the top and is crushed by the high-speed impact and shearing of the hammers. Qualified material is discharged through the bottom screen plate, while excessively large material continues to be hammered until it reaches the required size.
Main Advantages:
Single-stage crushing: Can crush large materials (up to 1-1.2 meters in size) to the required particle size in one operation, eliminating the need for a primary crushing stage.
Good finished product particle shape: The product is mostly multi-faceted and angular, which is beneficial for improving the bonding strength in concrete.
Strong adaptability: Suitable for medium-hardness, brittle materials such as limestone, coal, and gypsum with a compressive strength ≤200MPa. Can be used for both dry and wet applications.
Discharge particle size: Can be controlled by adjusting the gap of the bottom screen plate or replacing the screen bars.
Capacity matching: The capacity in the table is a theoretical value; the actual capacity is affected by the hardness and moisture content of the material. Choose the appropriate option based on your production needs.
Power and weight: Heavy-duty hammer crushers have high power (up to thousands of kilowatts) and heavy weight (up to hundreds of tons), requiring a stable power supply and foundation.
